Mission Sports Council is hosting their 5th Annual KidSport Golf tournament this September 6th at Mission Sports Council.  

FAST FACT: KidSport Mission has provided $28,000 in support of Mission kids in 2023. Demand so far in 2024 has increased by 60% since then.

Punjabi Mutiyaaran: Empowering Women

About Us: The Punjabi Mutiyaaran Women Society was established by a group of seven 'Punjabi Mutiyaaran.' While the term can have multiple meanings in Punjabi, it generally refers to a group of youthful girls or women. Our organization is a non-profit society dedicated to supporting women, particularly the growing population of South Asian women. Our mission and passion stem from various personal experiences, including overcoming adversity in abusive relationships and single parenting, where community support made a crucial difference.

Our Inspiration:
The inspiration to empower women comes from a deep-rooted desire to see them shine in their potential and thrive in life. Many of us have experienced or witnessed the challenging times that some of our close loved ones have faced.

Our Event:
Mela Shoukeenena Da is more than just a gathering; it's a celebration of strength, resilience, and community. By supporting SARA for Women, we aim to provide resources and assistance to women in need, helping them overcome their challenges and empowering them to thrive.

MISSION RIBFEST 2024 // There's some fierce competition at the inaugural Mission Ribfest at Fraser River Heritage Park. Come on out today through Monday, admission is by donation with all proceeds going to Mission Youth House - MY House. There's a kids zone, live music, artisan market, beer garden and delicious food!

On Sunday, there will be a panel of judges and awards ceremony at 3pm.
